DIERKS BENTLEY TO HEADLINE CONCERT AT THE US MILITARY ACADEMY FOOTBALL STADIUM OCTOBER 18

Multi-Platinum entertainer Dierks Bentley is slated to headline the first ever outdoor concert held at The US Military Academy’s historical football stadium, known as “Michie Stadium.” Presented by West Point Family & MWR and Army West Point Athletics, the Fall concert is scheduled to take place Friday, October 18, during peak foliage in the Hudson River Valley.

After headlining arenas and amphitheaters across the country with his 2019 BURNING MAN TOUR, Bentley will be supported by country music star Dustin Lynch while making a stop at the nation’s preeminent leader development institution at West Point. Joined by Cadets, Soldiers, and other Department of Defense leadership, the US Military Academy will host the show to provide morale, welfare and recreation support to the West Point Community and beyond. The whole team seeks to provide world class entertainment commensurate with the level of dedication and hard work that takes place at the Academy.

Parking:

Parking lots will open at 2:30 p.m., the stadium gates will open at 6:00 p.m., with the concert beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Stadium tailgating and parking policies will remain consistent with Army West Point Football game days.

Parking is available for $20 with both cash and credit cards accepted.

Entry to West Point:

Ticket holders should enter on Friday through either Thayer Gate or Stony Lonesome Gate.

Don't Forget:

• Enhanced security measures remain in effect at West Point and at stadium access points for all Michie Stadium events.

• ALL fans 18 and older must present a valid ID to enter West Point.

• We strongly encourage all fans to arrive early to avoid delays.

• Parking spaces are limited and tailgating must be confined to a small area around your vehicle. Traffic lanes and adjacent parking spaces cannot be blocked at any time.

• Spectators wishing to park together must enter the lots at the same time. Saving parking spots is prohibited.

• Tailgates can not take up adjacent parking spaces.

Gate Access:

Academy leadership has declared the concert day a “special event” exception to gate policy, all concert goers age 18 or older are required to show a valid government-issued ID card to enter post. Entry points include Stony Lonesome Gate (off Route 9W), Thayer Gate (through Highland Falls), or Washington Gate (off Route 293/Route 218.) 

Concessions & Other Rules:

No outside food or drink will be permitted inside the stadium, nor will any type of weapon be permitted on the installation. Stadium tailgating and parking policies will remain consistent with Army West Point Football game days. The concert is open to the general public with pre-sale access to West Point employees holding a .edu or .mil email domain beginning Wednesday August 28, 9 a.m. through Thursday, Sept 5, 10:00 p.m. Said employees will receive an email with instructions and promo code access on August 28.
