Learn How to DJ with Richy Smart

This hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop introduces students to the fundamentals of DJing. From understanding the equipment and music structure to practicing basic transitions, students will leave with a foundational understanding of how to build and perform a basic DJ set using modern gear and software.

Curriculum:
- Identify key components of a DJ setup (controller, mixer, software)
- Understand music structure: BPM, phrasing, bars, and keys
- Perform basic transitions using EQ and volume control
- Create and perform a short DJ set using 4–6 songs
- Gain confidence with DJ software and hardware basics
