Morgan Farm 2024 Summer Riding Camp

Give the gift of an unforgettable equestrian experience with Summer Riding Camp at Morgan Farm!

Each 5-Day Camp will run Monday-Friday, 9am - 3pm. 

Available dates:

• Week 1: June 10^th - June 14^th
• Week 2: June 17^th - June 21^st
• Week 3: June 24^th - June 28^th
• Week 4: July 8^th - July 12^th
• Week 5: July 15^th - July 19^th
• Week 6: July 22^nd - July 26^th
• Week 7: July 29^th - August 2^nd

Riding Camp will be held at the Saint Equestrian Center on Morgan Farm. We have an indoor ring, so it will be held rain or shine. Our camps are designed for children ages 5 and up to have a hands-on learning experience. Riding lessons will reflect and build upon each camper’s level of expertise. In addition to riding, campers will be familiarized with basic safety, rules, and procedures, and will learn how to lead, brush, tack up, and perform daily horse care.

Friday is our “show day”, where children will get a chance to show what they have learned! Families are invited to watch, and are encouraged to attend.

Children are to bring their own lunches/snacks/drinks. We have a fridge and freezer on the premises. No glass bottles!

If your child has allergies (airborne, food etc.), please let us know. Children are exposed to horse and cat dander, hay, dust, pollens, bugs, and sunlight.

Shoes/Boots with a small heel are required for safety. Children will not be allowed to work with horses if they are wearing sandals, jelly shoes, or soft-soled canvas sneakers. Helmets are mandatory and are provided by the barn. Children may bring their own, but it must have an attached safety harness and be S.E.I. approved. Bicycle helmets are not allowed.

Dress appropriately for being at the barn. Children in beginner/intermediate camps cannot wear shorts or capris for riding. Children in intermediate camps should bring old shorts, sneakers, and a t-shirt, daily. Sunscreen and insect repellent are recommended. Campers have access to an air conditioned lounge.
Please pick up children promptly, as the Instructor usually has lessons after camp.
