2020 REGULAR BIG GAME SEASON OPENING DAY LOTTERY NOTICE

In 2020, the Hunt Lottery for area reservations for Opening Day of the Regular Big Game Season will be conducted via a virtual lottery system instead of in-person, as in prior years, due to Covid-19.

Please completely fill out the form with your information and area preferences, with one (1) being your highest preference. List as many hunting areas as possible to ensure you get a spot if higher preference areas are filled or closed. Late draws who do not list possible area will be skipped and not placed in an area for lottery.

Either way: Forms must be submitted NLT 05:00 pm on Monday, November 2nd, 2020.

LOTTERY DRAWING – THURSDAY NOVEMBER 5TH, 2020

Lottery drawing will be conducted on Thursday November 5th, 2020 (In house). Hunters will be notified on Friday, November 6th, 2020 of their winning areas. Eligibility priority in the lottery will be:

Priority I - Active duty military personnel

Priority II - Retired military personnel, Drilling Reserve and Guard personnel, and West Point Civilian Personnel.

Groups are limited to one (1) chance per one entry. List all names of hunters in group. Be sure area chosen can fit ENTIRE group. If group contains a Priority II individual then group is Priority II.

DAYS AFTER LOTTERY

Monday, November 9th, 2020 – hunters who were not in lottery may select open areas and hunters who were may now change areas. Visit Round Pond with military ID.

Friday, November 20th, 2020 – the day before Opening Day - hunters may Pre-Check-In for Opening Day via at Hunt Control (Bldg 1670 on Mine Torn Rd)

OPENING DAY – SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 21ST, 2020
Hunters who Pre-Checked-In on Friday may head directly to areas. Hunters who did not Pre-Check-In on Friday must first check-in in-person at Hunt Control.

Reserved areas unclaimed by 0900 on Opening Day are then made available to anyone. All hunters must check out in person at Hunt Control when done hunting. The iSportsman website will show all areas as CLOSED, all website check-in/out functionswill be offline, and all check in/out procedures are in person at Hunt Control on Opening Day.

Big Game Harvest Check: All big game (deer and bear) harvests must be brought in for Harvest Check by NRB. Harvests will be added to accounts by NRB staff.

REST OF REGULAR BIG GAME SEASON
After Opening Day, all check in/out for the rest of the season and indeed the year is via the iSportsman website. General Public checks in/out at Hunt Control for first week. Big Game Harvest Check: All big game (deer and bear) harvests must be brought in for Harvest Check by NRB. Hunters will then report given info upon check out.

NOTE: Guests & General Public may not hunt Opening Day nor participate in Hunt Lottery.
