Register Now!Over the span of two weeks is Father’s Day and July Fourth. To celebrate, we are having a family friendly Patriotic Virtual 5K for the West Point community! Costumes are optional but recommended for your chance to win a prize for the most patriotic costume.
Register online between June 18 and June 28 (NOW EXTENDED TO JULY 1, 11:59PM). You can either have your race shirt mailed to you for an additional fee or pickup in person Tuesday July 14 in front of the MWR Fitness Center between 1000 and 1400.
Price: $10 (race and shirt pick-up)
$18 (race and shirt mailed to home address)
How to Participate:
1. Register individually or by family
2. Create your own race bib.
3. Run 3.1 miles in any desired location (Any course, outdoors or on a treadmill!!!).
4. Upload pictures of costumes, race bibs and fitness tracker showing completion time and distance to
usarmy.westpoint.id-training.list.se@mail.mil
or the Facebook event post.
Participants will have between June 21st and July 5 (by 6 p.m.) to upload results.
Prizes:
Submit your photos for the following categories for chances to win prizes! Prizes include Fitness Trackers, Gift Cards, Apparel and more!
> Top Female Completion Time (Age Categories 12 & under, 13-17, and 18 & over
> Top Male Completion Time in age categories 12 and under, 13-17, 18 and up
> Most Creative Individual Patriotic Costume
> Most Creative Family Patriotic Costume
> Best Decorated Race bib
Voting will take place July 7-9th for Patriotic Costume and Best Decorated Race Bib categories on the MWR Facebook Page.
Winners will be announced Friday, July 10.
Voting will be counted as follow:

1 Love = 2 Votes
