STOP THE BLEED/TECC is designed to give civilians the skills and knowledge to provide lifesaving care during direct and indirect threats. Through this 4-hour class, students will gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and intervene effectively whether the injury came from a terrorist attack or a household accident. Students will become empowered to make a life-or-death difference when a bleeding emergency occurs.
Students will receive a free training tourniquet and a certificate from the AMERICAN COLLEGE OF SURGEONS COMMITTEE ON TRAUMA.
