- Participants must be able to confidently stop and make controlled turns on their equipment using turn shape (carving/edging) rather than skidding/friction.
- Protective gear is mandatory.
- Ages 12 and older.
- Demonstrate safe park entry, flow, and etiquette.
- Confidently apply the ATML method (Approach, Takeoff, Maneuver, Landing) on small jumps.
- Execute controlled 50–50 slides on basic boxes.
- Safely approach and slide low/intermediate rails (readiness-based progression).
- Show improved edging, pressure control, rotary movements, and balance skills.
- Understand terrain feature construction and maintenance.
- Make smart, safe decisions using the Park Smart safety initiative
This weekly program is designed for skiers and snowboarders (Alpine, Telemark, and Snowboard welcome) who are new to the terrain park. It also serves as an excellent refresher for those looking to refine their technique and learn proper park etiquette.
