ACS Connecting with Kids Workshop

#
Note: This event has already passed.

On Thursday, December 8th, from 4pm-6pm, join Army Community Service for a free Connecting with Kids workshop, focused on helping Military Families with children navigate difficult circumstances during the holiday season.

Presented by the American Red Cross, and facilitated by a licensed clinical social worker, this interactive session will help parents learn how children react to stress and trauma, and teaches effective ways to help them cope through difficult times. Both parents are encouraged to participate. A light supper will also be provided.

This workshop is free and open to the West Point Community, and takes place at the ACS Building (622 Swift Road). Due to its interactive nature, it has a limit of 20 participants. When registering, you’ll be entered into a drawing for an American Girl Doll! (Must be present at the workshop in order to win.)
