Register Now!Join BOSS for a Water Safety & Introduction to Kayak Life Skills course on Friday, June 24th, from 3pm-5pm, and Saturday, June 25th, from 9am-5pm!
This free 2-day event is open to Single Soldiers, Geo-Bachelors, and Single Parents.
On June 24th we will meet at Buffalo Soldier Pavilion and go to the Round Pond Rec Area to cover basic water safety, kayaking basics, and what to do if you fall out.
On June 25th we will put your new skills to the test! Meeting at the BSP at 9am, we'll head out to the Delaware River for a day on the water. You'll paddle through the beautiful Hawks Nest, where you might be lucky enough to see some Bald Eagles on the cliffs!
Attendance is required on June 24th in order to attend the river trip on June 25th.
Space is limited, so pre-registration is required by 4pm June 22nd and can be done via Webtrac.
