Who's up for a little challenge? You’ve shredded down the Victor Constant Ski Area. Do you think you have what it takes to run up it? Now is your chance to Conquer the VIC!
MWR is hosting a grueling 5K Trail Run that covers the entire Ski Resort! Test your endurance and try to Conquer the Vic! (Come on, its only 950 vertical feet.)
This event will take place at West Point's Victor Constant Ski Area (732 Victor Constant Rd, Bldg. 732) and is open to the public!
The race will be in a heat format, with heats being released every 20 minutes, starting at 8am. All racers will be timed, and will receive a bib with built in timing chip so they can brag about how quickly they ran the course!
Want to compete for a trophy? The first two heats will be for competitive times, and prizes will be awarded to the top three male and top three female times of these combined heats (for a total of 6 prizes).
There will be a “Conquer the Vic Jr.” heat offered for kids at 9:40am that will be approximately 1 mile of the adult course. Conquer the Vic Jr. is a challenging course recommended for kids ages 11 and under.
Space is limited in each heat and spots are not guaranteed for specific heat times for Day-of registration.
Registration by September 14th includes race bib with timing chip, race dri-fit t-shirt, finisher medal and a finisher beverage (Shirt, shirt size, and medal cannot be guaranteed for those registering after Sep 14th).

- 8:20am (Competitive)
- 8:40am
- 9:00am
- 9:20am
- 9:40am (Conquer the Vic Jr.)

Cost
Pricing for registration is time sensitive. The earlier you register, the bigger the discount (Cadets can enjoy a discounted price no matter their registration date)!
If Registering On or Before August 20th:
- Conquer the Vic: $30 per person
- Conquer the Vic Jr.: $20 per person
- Cadet: $20 per person (using Cadet discount code)
If Registering August 21st - September 28th:
- Conquer the Vic: $35 per person
- Conquer the Vic Jr.: $25 per person
- Cadet: $20 per person (using Cadet discount code)
If Registering Day-of:
- Conquer the Vic: $45 per person
- Conquer the Vic Jr.: $25 per person
- Cadet: $20 per person (using Cadet discount code)
