This is a 16 hour class plus 2 hour live fire course required by NYS prior to applying for the pistol permit.
Course covers all material required by New York State. Students will take both a written examination and practical skills exam.
-firearm safety
-loading and unloading a pistol or revolver
-justification for the use of deadly force under NYS law
-restrictions on location where a firearm may be
possessed and other required subjects
This course also includes firearm, ammunition, ear and eye protection.
