Skills & Drills - Upcoming Mini Classes

Beginners (Beg): Ideal for those new to shooting or anyone wishing to revisit the fundamentals.

Intermediate (Int): Participants should have a solid understanding of the basics and be able to demonstrate safety without instructor supervision.

Advanced Shooters (Adv): Designed for individuals with exceptional technical precision, rapid reloading skills, proficiency in shooting while moving, and advanced tactical movement abilities.
 

FRIDAY, MAY 29 – SHOOTING FUNDAMENTALS
Level:
Beginner
Fee: $50 (Equipment & Ammo Included)
Overview: Learn the essential skills of safe and accurate shooting—grip, stance, sight alignment, sight picture, and trigger control.
Objective: Build a foundation in firearm safety and shooting proficiency.
Agenda: Safety briefing, grip/stance fundamentals, sighting concepts, trigger drills, and live-fire practice.

FRIDAY, JUNE 5 – MARKSMANSHIP & ACCURACY
Level:
Intermediate
Fee: $50 (Equipment & Ammo Included)
Overview: Strengthen your accuracy and consistency with targeted drills focused on precision and follow-through.
Objective: Enhance speed and shot placement for confident target engagement.
Agenda: Review fundamentals, aim refinement, target engagement, accuracy exercises, and personalized feedback.

FRIDAY, JUNE 12 – HOLSTER MECHANICS

Intermediate

Overview: Safely master drawing from and re-holstering your firearm under supervision.
Objective: Build safe, smooth, and efficient holster handling skills.
Agenda: Holster safety, draw and re-holster practice, and live-fire holster drills.

FRIDAY, JUNE 19 – MALFUNCTIONS & RELOADS
Level:
Intermediate

Overview: Learn to recognize and clear firearm malfunctions and perform reloads quickly under pressure.
Objective: Strengthen safety and efficiency in reload and malfunction scenarios.
Agenda: Types of malfunctions, clearing methods, reload techniques, and live-fire malfunction drills.

Overview: Engage multiple targets while moving and maintaining accuracy.
Objective: Develop smooth transitions between targets in dynamic movement.
Agenda: Movement safety, target transitions, shooting on the move, live-fire drills, and debrief.

Overview: Learn how to effectively use red dot optics for faster target acquisition.
Objective: Understand red dot operation, zeroing, and transitioning from iron sights.
Agenda: Red dot theory, sighting, live-fire optics drills, and maintenance tips.

Agenda: Cover vs. concealment, shooting positions, angles, live-fire exercises, and tactical discussions.
