Bring in your used winter gear, clothing, and equipment to sell and walk out with something new to you during the Swap and Sell at the Victor Constant Ski Area! It will take place on Saturday, December 5^th from 9am - 4pm at 732 Victor Constant Rd., BLDG 732, West Point.

Equipment drop off and registration for the Swap and Sell will start Monday, November 30^th and will run through Friday, December 4^th, from 10am - 5pm each day (this is the only time you will be able to register your equipment for the swap and sell). 

Below are the procedures to participate in the event. Please read through to ensure all equipment/apparel qualify:

Procedures:

• As you drop off the items, you will be asked to fill out registration tags listing all your items with detailed descriptions and the price you are selling the items. If you need assistance, we can help. Tags will be handed out for each item you are selling and will be recorded on the registration form. Please retain your stub(s) for identifying purposes if there are any issues.
• All equipment will be inspected. All bindings will be checked for indemnification (industry approved). Heels and toes of boots will be checked for cracking. We have the right to refuse any item we deem unsuitable for any reason including cleanliness.
• Acceptable Items: snowboards, skis, boots, poles, jackets, vests, sweaters, pants, goggles. Clothing must be in very good condition – no stains, smells, holes, and be current fashion.
• Unacceptable Items: Straight skis, non-Indemnified ski bindings (we will check for you), hats, gloves, bindings independent of skis and snowboards unless they are temporarily mounted together on a board, non-pair items (skis, boots, poles, bindings), any non-winter items, long underwear, socks, sweatshirts/sweatpants.
• There is a $2 non-refundable tagging fee for registering each item… i.e. $2 for a pair of boots, $2 for a pair of skis, etc.
• The limit of items per family can sell is 10.
• We will not accept items below the price of $3 to be entered into the swap and sell. Please price your item to sell – you cannot change the price once your items are registered, and we cannot “bargain” with the buyers during the sale.

How to receive your payment

1. 75% of sale in cash goes to you, Victor Constant Ski Area will deduct a 25% commission from the sale price (rounded up the next whole dollar)… i.e. if you sell ski boots for $40, Victor Constant Ski Area will retain $10.00 and you will get $30.00.
2. Receive 100% of the sale price on a FMWR gift card for use at MWR locations at West Point, excluding Morgan Farms, and CYS.

Merchandise Pickup

Payment and/or any unsold merchandise pickup days are: Tuesday December 8 – Friday December 11 - 10am-5pm

• Your stub will be needed to for identification purposes.
• All unclaimed merchandise and payments will be donated to the Victor Constant Ski Patrol. No exceptions.
