    Back 9 Holes

West Point Golf Course_NewLogo_B-W_2021.pngNestled in the Hudson Valley just north of the Bear Mountain Bridge, the West Point Golf Course offers an unforgettable golf experience. The West Point Golf Course is an 18-hole challenge on a mountain layout, with well maintained terrain normally seen only at private clubs or high-end courses. Don't let the length fool you, this Robert Trent Jones design course is a great challenge for all levels of golf.

Markers all measured to center of green.

100 YARDS: Bright Red, 150 YARDS: White, 200 YARDS: Blue

HOLE 10

A dog-leg right, short hole- hit a good tee shot to left side of fairway, which takes out the first transverse creek and should eliminate the second one from play. Green elevated and SHALLOW (front to rear) and it is bunkered in the front and slopes toward the hole from the front and rear.

HOLE 11

This is a tough one and the handicap doesn't give a true read! POND in front almost all the way to the green. It is all carry. Bunker front left, trouble woods to the rear and right. Green slopes rear to front. Drop area on right side of pond.

HOLE 12

Narrow tree-lined chute from tee. Need straight tee shot as creek and pond on left as well as a creek/OB on the right. Second shot (if drive was good) uphill to elevated green that slopes rear to front.

HOLE 13

All carry, bunker left, woods rear and right. Large green slopes rear right to front left.

HOLE 14

Pond short left from elevated tee (not normally in play). Beautiful view of fairway that slopes left to right on a dog-leg left to a downhill green. Woods left and right are trouble. Green slopes rear to front.

HOLE 15

Elevated tee to fairway bunkered on left, woods to right. Beautiful view! Second shot to slightly elevated green, bunkered front and slopes rear to front. After putting out, back over the bridge to the 16th tee.

HOLE 16

Downhill par 3 hole is pretty straight forward. However due to the severe steep grade it is recommended to play this hole as 20 yards less than the stated yardage. Otherwise you may be re-teeing as you just hit over the stone wall behind the green.

HOLE 17

Big dogleg left, uphill and fairway slopes severely right to left, over the ridge downhill, then back up to an elevated green, bunkered to the front and the green slopes rear right to front left.

HOLE 18

Elevated tee to fairway that slopes left to right. If drive is short, a blind second shot and the transverse creek will be in play. Green bunkered front left and slopes front to rear. Need high shot to hold the green.
