Youth Classes

Painting 101 (Grades 5 & up)
$125.00 (4 classes) All materials included
Thursdays January 4, 11, 18, & 25
2:30pm – 4:30pm

In this class students will be introduced to the world of color using acrylic paint. The focus of this class will be on color mixing and value studies.

Drawing 102 (Grades 5 & up)
$100 (4 classes)
plus $25 material fee
Thursdays February 1, 8, 15 & 22
2:30pm –  4:30pm

Using the skills learned in Drawing 101, students will begin life drawing using the medium of their choice. Observational skills will be learned and discussed as well as the importance of positive and negative space in drawing.

One Point Perspective - Part 2 (Grades 5 & up)
$100 (4 classes)
plus $25 material fee
Thursdays March 1, 8, 22 & 29
2:30pm – 4:30pm

Students will continue to learn to draw using one-point perspective. In this class we will discuss how shading can aid in the perception of distance and look at interior and exterior spaces.

Saturday Teen Drop In (Ages 13 & up)
January 20 & 27, February 10 & 24 and March 3 & 24
10am – 12pm

A great way to meet friends with the same interests! This class is designed for the student who is serious about art and developing their skills in a wide variety of mediums. An instructor will be available to help students on projects they bring from home. A still life and limited materials will also be provided.

One Hour Private Lesson (Ages 7 & up)
